Snowflake challenge day 7
Jan. 7th, 2017 02:16 pmDay 7
In your own space, create a fanwork. Make a drabble, a ficlet, a podfic, or an icon, art or meta or a rec list. Arts and crafts. Draft a critical essay about a particular media. Put together a picspam or a fanmix. Write a review of a Broadway show, a movie, a concert, a poetry reading, a museum trip, a you-should-be-listening-to-this-band essay. Compose some limericks, haikus, free-form poetry, 5-word stories. Document a particular bit of real person canon. Take some pictures. Draw a stick-figure comic. Create something. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.
I was waiting for this challenge to happen, and what an excellent list of suggestions.
While I was tempted to draft a critical essay about a particular media 1 I'm actually going to do a Musketeers picspam, so you can all see what I've been enjoying.
Plus, I highly suspect I'll be back very soon with a writing prompt post as a second challenge fill, as I do like those. But for now.
1 And if you believe that....
It makes me sad that while I watched The Musketeers when it was on from the start, I never got fannish about it until just before season three was shown. But I got there eventually, so let me show you some Musketeers, and a lot of Aramis who is the prettiest of all.
See.

And again.

Really, he's doing it on purpose now.

That's just unfair!

Monk Aramis. So wrong without the others! But still good with kids.

I have to admit, I'd watch, too.

Oh look, watching again.

Have I mentioned pretty?

The inseparables!

So many things to look at.

Leaning happens often in Musketeer land.

As do direct looks.

I like a bit of Athos/Armais

How could you not?

Such a lovely smile.

And some Porthos/Aramis

Porthos gives good hugs.

They're bros who love each other.

And smile often.

I know it's not a popular opinion in some parts, but I like a bit of Aramis/Anne

And Aramis/d'artagnan is fine, too.

My, what a big belt buckle you have.

I'm also all about a bit of Aramis/Constance. Especially as Constance kicks ass.

But really, I'm all about the gsf

Hello, there!

While Aramis is my favourite, the others are awesome, too.

Really, those are just very attractive men.

Seriously, they are.

And to end, I have to admit, the cast look nice together, too.

Date: 2017-01-07 06:14 pm (UTC)Not my fandom at all, as you know, but I agree that they're all rather pretty. (But I hope this version of them is taking place in some sort of fantasy land and time. What they're wearing is so not 17th century fashion :-)

Date: 2017-01-08 06:48 am (UTC)Sadly not a fantasy time. It's supposed to be realistic, but I'm not surprised at all it actually isn't.
