I love squeeing with you too. But seriously, why do more people not love MMXXL? Why?! It has to be said, it's tradition now *g* And of course Mikey. I'll always be proud of our comm, which really was fabulous. And I'm sure we'll be sharing an ongoing fandom again at some point. It's bound to happen.

I'm making my way through the Day 7 Snowflake posts, because it's such a tough challenge, and I had to say (as noted above!) I love your addition about lurkers. Commenting can be as though as posting sometimes, and I love that you included the folks-too-shy-to-talk as well <3

I know a lot of people find commenting hard, but I'd hate to think that would stop them reading and enjoying things like this challenge. Fandom needs all kinds of people to survive, and the lurkers are included in that.

And may I say, you're doing a lovely thing working your way through the day 7 posts. I'm sure you've made many people smile with your comments.

I have had so many giggles from reading your posts. I don't think you will ever top the "Lava Lamp Story In Pictures", of course, but you have a lovely way of expressing yourself that just tickles my funny bone sometimes. And, of course, a way of caring about the people around you/people you know that comes across as so matter-of-fact because *of course you do* and you probably don't realise how special you are.

I'm usually more of a lurker when reading your journal, but the Snowflake Challenge and this entry give me the perfect opportunity to tell you that I enjoy reading your entries, even if they're not about our shared fandom.
I admire your positivity and enthusiasm, which gives me motivation to get involved some more myself.

It's amazing how long fandom friendships can last. Some from my popslash years are well into their teens now, and that's just, wow. But I treasure them all, including yours.

Omg. Okay, so the first fic of yours I ever read was the popslash AU where they're all homeless and Chris looks out for everyone and JC lugs all his art supplies around in a big bag printed with sunflowers and Lance is so protective of his little suitcase -- and, and, and. It was brilliant and beautiful and touched such a raw, specific nerve with me that you were forever on my radar after that.

And THEN. Like, a million years later, we just...started talking one day?? I mean, I really can't remember how it happened, or who started it, but it was a good day. You're kind and talented, your comments always make me smile, and I'm very happy to know you. :)

Oh Boxes. So angsty and in terms of writing, weak at times. However, I love that story because it's full of things and characters I love. And the actual writing of it was amazing. Just throwing the words out there on my journal piece by piece. I'd never do that now, but at the time it was great.

I can't remember when we started talking either. But I think the best kinds of friendships start that way, just sliding together and being comfy. And one day you will come to Camp Sparkle!
