This is nothing but a gratuitous pet post.

I love seeing photos of people's pets and know some of my flist's friends pets well. I'm thinking pets like Salem, Lancecat, Fluffy and Sable, Olivier, Martha and Marusya, Layla, Naryu, boy cat, girl cat and baby kittie, and so many others I've come to know over the years.

Behind the cut are photos of my kitties, and you know, if you would like to share some photos of your own pets that would be great. Doesn't have been cats or dogs, if you've a pet goat, go for it.



This is Pansy, my little ex feral.



A nice profile shot of Murphy. I love the slope of his nose and his huge ears.



Milo likes to lounge in the sink when I'm in the bath. He's an old man now, a bit stiff, but after his recent illness is doing nicely.



Finally, this is mam's cat Megan. I share looking after with her with Kayleigh. I pay Meg's insurance and Kayleigh her day to day expenses. She always looks grumpy, it's her normal expression.

Megan always looks furious which is a shame as she can be really cuddly when she wants.

What gorgeous cats! Does Murphy have giant ears, or is that a trick of the angle? And Megan looks quite a lot like my Fluffy, very similar face markings and symmetry.

I kinda miss the pets on Shakesville. Zelda was 'my' virtual dog.

Beauties all of them! Cats are such a good shape, in general, I always think. Pansy looks so alert, and Murphy so content. Milo's markings are very artistic! And Megan is beautifully fluffy.

Sadly I have no pets of my own now, but perhaps I may be allowed to post this street cat again that I met in Varna last summer:

Murphy's ears are a bit big. I suspect he'll grow into them, and until then always looks a little ear heavy *g*

Pretty kitties!! The photo of Pansy is so pretty and I just love Murphy's giant bat ears. Milo looks so content relaxing in the sink like that. (How lovely that he keeps you company when you're having a bath!) And Megan is so adorably grumpy and fluffy!

Megan is such a grumpy cat looking cat. She can be loving when she wants but always on her own terms. Not that I can blame her, she's been through a lot.

Which reminds me of this extra grumpy photo that always makes me laugh.



Meg has a skin condition which means she has to go to the vets every month for sterioids -- and man, I'm so glad mam took out top of the range insurance on her as those visits add up. She always looks like this while at the vets, even though she's actually good as gold and lets them do anything to her.

Unrelated to cats. Have you been watching Making the Cut? I was debating if I should download or not.

RE Making the Cut: I...am sitting it out. For one thing, I kinda burned out on Heidi and Tim when they were in PR. For another, there are many other shows I'd rather be watching. TBH, I don't know many folks who are watching it either. Not sure if it's because it's been under marketed OR if it's not clicking with folks the way the Netflix design show did. YMMV.

Well, with that I'm giving Making the Cut a pass. Like you I have a load of other shows I need to watch, and I've heard no buzz about it, so added to what you said, it's a pass.

Update on Making the Cut: someone finished the season and spoiled me abt the show. So, I'd say that passing on it is THE BEST AND HEALTHIEST CHOICE YOU CAN MAKE FOR YOURSELF IN THESE TIMES.

(I can spoil you if you want to, but basically, there's a lot of bullshittery that gets ignored and the winner is the most mediocre person of the bunch despite other ppl who were way more qualified than [winner].)
