So, I sat and thought about this for a while and could only think of one thing.

hc_bingo this is the bingo of my heart and has a seriously amazing mod. I like all the challenges and the fact even though I've never achieved a bingo yet I can still apply for a card and then gaze at it in admiration.

But one year I'll get a bingo. One year!



I've been on a nostalgia kick this morning watching Danger Days videos, and may or may not have watched the official Kids From Yesterday video multiple times.

It's a thing, I read excellent killjoys fic lately and then drabbles were offered by someone else and I felt the need for more killjoys fic which led to the need to watch Danger Days videos and just lose myself in memories.

The joy when MCR came back from the post The Black Parade hiatus, the clues leading up to DD, the sheer joy of those first concerts and being able to find and share photos -- the first sighting of Mikey's animal print shirt in the wild, his amazing new blond flippy hair -- other band members are available, but you know.... the gut kick and shared emotion when the video for Sing hit.

Funnily enough, all my main bandom friends from then are still around, just in a fannish drift, but it's lovely to think back. And I hope they know I will never let them go! ♥

While I'm on, Pete in American Suitehearts still holds my heart and I miss PanicV2 and RyRo. I think that about covers my usual bandom nostalgia posts.

How many times watching The Kids From Yesterday in a row is too many? Asking for a friend.

*sighs nostalgically* Bandom was by far the best time I've ever had in any fandom, period. Other fandoms may have more fics in my preferred genres, but the bandom community here on DW during Danger Days was just the best place to be. <3

It really was. I had so much fun back then, so many comment conversations and a level of enjoyment that seemed constant.

I do miss it, but am glad the people, like you, are still around in some ways ♥

Nothing wrong with a blast from the past. I miss those heady Killjoys days as well; MCR fandom was having a lot of fun back then!

What happens on YouTube is between you and YouTube. If they can't prove it, you don't have to admit anything :D

fun fact: i recently downloaded all of MCR's videos for a project that's like. definitely the stupidest thing i've ever undertaken, but i'm having fun. plus the videos are just great!!!

Well that sounds like an excellent use of your time.

The videos really are great, obviously I have some I like more than others but there are none I actually dislike.

I suspect Mikeyway will always hold a little bit of my heart. The love isn't as burning now but I still enjoy seeing him off living his life and being a great dad. Who knows, when they actually start touring again I may go full fan once more. Who knows!?

Oh man, yes! FOB have so many fantastic videos but Pete in AS always gets me.

Ahhh nostalgia! FOB was my gateway drug into bandom but I love them all. It really was/is (is, dammit, IS) a fandom that caters strongly for my favourite tropes of 'artistic expression as a sign of love' and 'bffs to lovers' and 'it's all pretend for ~reasons~ except oops'.

FOB have such amazing videos, they all do really. While I tended to focus on early Panic, FOB and MCR, I quite enjoyed Cobras too.

Hopefully when MCR come back and FOB get going again we'll get more excellent videos to enjoy.
