I thought I'd better put Animation Shop away and do some real work for a while, though it remains to be seen if posting in LJ is real work or not. Probably not I would imagine *g*
I'm going to be wrecked when the schools go back next week. James has been off too, so I've been sleeping until about 11 each day. I know you're supposed to keep sleep patterns the same but I say screw that. If I can stay in bed until dinner time I will.

dreamtrance I love it so much, and totally agree with what you said inside. I'm so glad I met you too. ((((hugs you))))
I should be finishing coding the
sentinel_thurs archive, but instead I meme, because I'm lazy. I could try and put spin on it but that's how I feel just now, *g*
End of the Year fanfic meme gakked from

Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?
About the same. I have fits and spurts of writing when I either write all the time or do none at all, and that's what I expected. I guess all that changed is I wrote less in one fandom and more in others.
What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2003?
That's easy! Popslash. Despite being a popslash fan I never actually told anyone. Well I may have mentioned it to
castalie a few times but wasn't open about it. Then I started thinking so what if I want to read and write about pretty boybanders having sex, and for a few months hesitated about actually writing the stuff. Then one day I sorta had a burst of bravery, wrote BSB fic and posted it. Then had to go shake for a bit because I'd crossed the line at last, lol. Some people,
bachelor_girl and
patchworkdragon were kind enough to comment and offer to beta if needed. ( The first two of my BSB stories were unbetaed as I knew nobody in the fandom ). So blame them for me still being here ;)
I laugh now at how worried I was back then. I'm aware that rps is a difficult area and some of my media fandom friends think I've gone a little insane, but really I'm having the time of my life so now I just do what I want to do.
What's your favorite story of the year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you happiest.
The sesa I think. I had fun writing it. It's not going to be popular but I don't care. I enjoyed writing it.
Did you take any writing risks this year? (See above for unexpected pairings, etc.) What did you learn from them?
Well I killed Simon off in a TS and spent the next few weeks depressed when every LoC I got said I'd made people cry. And yes I know that's a good thing, but still, opening every mail to ' I was bawling like a baby' made me freak a little. I suppose writing rps is a sort of risk but I haven't been flamed yet, though that's probably because no one knows where my site is. Oh, I wrote MX where Jesse is abusing Brennan. Which gets me the best feedback of all the stuff that I do for MX, go figure *g*
Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the New Year?
I want to finish The End series in TS. The Cycles series in MX and write lots and lots of stories for nsync and BSB. I suppose my goals are to get better. I know I'm still a weak writer in many ways and if I've overcome some of those faults by the end of 2004 I'll be very happy.
I also want to write the kink Chris/Kevin/Nick that's nibbling at my brain, I just want it to leave me alone for a while and stop showing me mental scenes of Chris tied up with leather restraints because I don't need to see things like that!
Oh you all know I'm lying about wanting to see that scene ;)
