I really didn't want to get up this morning, but sadly the alarm was insistent I did so.
Cat sitting is still going well, though I'm glad Megan's antibiotics are finished today. We've got into a nice routine now, but it does mean earlier starts than usual, and eating later at night.
Kayleigh, Lucy and Bodhi are having a nice holiday though, and I've been sent some lovely photos. They did have a bit of a dicey start when they thought the cyst was filling up again under Bodhi's tongue, so much so they actually looked into coming home early. But that seems to have settled down. I do suspect they're going to push for an earlier appointment than the end of April once they're home, as the issue needs to be sorted.
Yesterday was a day, and one that needs to be left in the past. One part was my MiL phoning and saying my SiL was getting her windows in next Thursday so could she come to stay from Wednesday night to Friday night? Instead, as Thursday is James' day off he suggested we pick her up early Thursday morning and take her back on the night. She seemed a little put out at the suggestion at the time, but it does make sense. Otherwise, he'd be driving from work to pick her up, not getting home until nearly 8pm, and having another late night after work on Friday to take her back to my Sil's, While the way we suggested we can spend the day together when he's not already tired after a full day at work.
Happier things.
turlough sent me an adorable knitted Easter Bunny. Thank you so much! ♥
It's behind the cut, along with some cat photos while I'm uploading pictures.
So adorable!

This photo of Murphy cracks me up.

I thought I'd show you the cats I've been cat-sitting. This is Aeriel, she's a very old lady now.

And this is Megan. She always looks furious but is actually a very lovely cat.

Date: 2023-03-25 01:16 pm (UTC)Aeriel loves hanging out in the bath, or lying with her head propped against the front door. But she's old, she's allowed to do what she wants, however strange. Megan is a ball of fluff, she's actually quite a small cat under all that fur.
