The new series of Taskmaster started last week and Nick Mohammed is one of the contestants. He seems to be a really nice guy, and randomly, decided on a vampire outfit to do the tasks. Liking him is a nice change after I spent so long being annoyed at him in Ted Lasso. As always, I don't know all the Taskmaster contestants this time, but I'm sure it'll feel like I've known them forever by the end of the season.

I got an incredibly lovely comment on my old bandom h/c challenge story and spent a while re-reading it this morning, and you know what, I enjoyed doing so. I'd give myself a kudos. But as always when I read and enjoy my old stuff, I think, where did it all go wrong? Why did I stop writing so often? It's to cry. It also made me miss old skool bandom. Those were good times.

It's supposed to be 20c here tomorrow, which will be a nice change from the grey and wet we seem to have had for ages. Sadly, that comes along with a storm and strong winds. I had intended to buy my tomato plants this week, but I think I'll hold off a bit longer. I mean, it may be warm enough, but I don't want the poor things to be blown away.

Kevin took advantage of a bit of sun bathing this morning. He's a strange one at times.

Re-reading your own stories sounds eminently sensible to me - you know exactly what you like to read after all! And oh yes, old skool bandom was the best! I really, really miss it too *sad sigh*

Did it get as warm as predicted? We had +15C here this afternoon. A big contrast to earlier in the week but very welcome.

That is very true. Yeah, it's such a miss. Bob and Brian and Worm, all those people who don't seem to be ever mentioned now.

It did get as warm as predicted. It was really windy, but once you were in shelter it could have easily been early or late summer. Your weather has been so weird, too.

Truer words have never been spoken. Kevin has suddenly taken against toilet rolls for some reason. He keeps pulling the spares off the holder and scratching them until they're ribbons.
