Aug. 10th, 2024 03:36 pmIt was a full Bodhisitting day yesterday, and we headed to Down at the Farm for the day.
The farm is, literally, five minutes drive away, but I haven't actually visited since Corey was a kidlet, so was amazed at how much it has changed and grown. We got there before opening, and left nearly six hours later, and in that time along with Bodhi, and sometimes James, I fed a calf, held a chick, groomed a donkey, brushed a guinea pig, went on a tractor ride, watched lots of animals, helped Bodes on lots of play ground equipment and walked loads. So much so my legs were feeling it big time when I finally got home. The place wasn't that big either, but we did a lot of circling.
Oh, and Turlough. Dolly was sitting having a tea party with bear, dinosaur, and a blow up zebra when I arrived. She's leading quite the life now *g*
Look at this newly shornJuppy alpaca with its spindly legs.

And look at that neck!

We were in the first feeding group of the day, so the calves were hungry. That cutie did not want to let go of the bottle.

These guys were adorable! Look at their little faces! And watching mama pig make muddy holes to wallow in had us all fascinated.

Plans for tonight are to hopefully start on the new Umbrella Academy eps. It may not happen, but that is the plan.
