turpsI'm not feeling at all well today so I've been watching tv mostly and napping, which yeah doesn't sound that different to normal but I look pathetic while I'm doing it *g*
But I'm feeling better so here I am, and I have a complaint. I was watching Highlander and Richie was beaten up, which is all of the good because I'm all about the hurt thing. He goes back to the loft and is bare chested getting his ribs wrapped, and there's a strategic chair back to cover his nipples! WTF's up with that? He's not a child, there was no need for that chair back to be there...not that I wanted to see his nipples or anything. It just seemed a waste of a bare chest shot.
Okay, maybe I did want to see them.
Duncan wasn't as mad today which was a shame, I'm getting a kick out of watching him stride round like a madman. I hope you all know you'll probably be getting a Highlander mini post every day now, and we're only on episode 10 *g*
We also played Sims and I realised the drawbacks to sharing a game with your son. For example, you could go to make tea, come back and he'll have JC necking with Homer Simpson on the couch. In other Sim news, Justin is addicted to the bed of love, you leave him alone and when you look for him he's on the bed naked with the setting on vibrate. JC has developed a kind of OCD and will follow people round the house picking their rubbish up as soon as it hit the floor. I realised he had a problem when he was cleaning the toilet about 2 times an hour.
The game again ended in tragedy, but first I have to share a conversation,
The situation is this. Justin was going to the bed of love and Corey and I were watching him.
Corey: Look, he's going in the bed again, I'll go and get Chris.
Me: Why?
Corey: Because Chris is his boyfriend.
Me: How do you know that?
Corey: Because I make them kiss and Justin loves him
And it's a simple as that, timbertrick is now the pairing of choice in our house.
But I said there was tragedy and there was. I managed to get the cheat working so the house was beautiful, Chris was banging on the drums, JC on the piano, Joey was making his third lot of food in an hour when suddenly a shout went out! Someone had tried to BBQ and set fire to the balcony above it. ( yes a design fault for sure there *g* ) This meant we had fires on the top and bottom floors, but what was worse was Lance was on the balcony above at the time. The flames quickly burnt the spiral stairs so he couldn't get down outside so he tried to get away through the bedroom, but JC was standing in the door and Lance couldn't get past. I took control of JC and tried to make him move, he wouldn't, just stood watching as Lance was engulfed in flames. I ordered him to extinguish and all he did was shrug his shoulders and watch as Lance died. Meanwhile downstairs Joey kept trying to get to his burgers which were inches from the flames, it was bound to end in disaster and soon he was burning as Chris tried to extinguish him. We did have a fireman but he was trying to get the flames on both floors and wasn't doing much good. Poor Joey died and Chris went crazy. I've never seen a Sim do anything like it as he ran round and round the house up stairs and down, looking at Lance's gravestone then Joey's. The tragic tale ended with Justin comforting Chris as JC the slut writhed naked on the bed of love. Homer was nowhere in sight, he knew he was an outsider so stayed in the garden and ate.
Two major fires in two days. It's just not right.
Now I'm going to go make a hot water bottle and some hot orange, then see what you all have been up to today.

It was really dramatic! What makes it funnier is Corey holds a grudge, we'll be doing something totally unrelated and he'll go 'remember when Justin burned the kitchen down? And I just have to laugh.
And Corey? Just.the.best.kid.ever!
