(1) What's so good about Trickyfish? (Convince me!)
You wanted to know what's so good about trickyfish, let me use visual aids *g*
Look at Chris, his whole body is pressed against Lance. His arms are locked because he's just so damn happy to have Lance so close. Lance himself is playing it cool, he knows he's hot and Chris wants him. Look at his face, that's a face of someone thinking, I had him screaming my name last night.
How many people would you trust to hold you round the neck like that. That's one hell of an intimate pose, and the way they're looking at one another, Chris is desperate to kiss Lance but can't because of the photographer.
Chris is so close to Lance, he's telling him that he wants to go down on him there and then. Lance is tempted while Justin is burning up with jealousy. The patch of sweat on Lance's stomach is an added bonus here ;)
Chris has just asked Lance to marry him here, in front of all their friends with the microphone and confetti to celebrate. Lance is overcome and can't help jumping on him with joy. He loves Chris, you can tell.
Even in the early days Lance took the chance to ride Chris as often as he could ;)
Fast-forward to last year. It's Chris' birthday and who does he want at his party? Lance! Lance made sure he was the one to bring in the cake and Chris is looking at him, thinking I love you so much, or maybe I want to smear cake on your body and lick it off.
Aw, they're sweethearts and have had their pictures taken to send home.
Notice where Lance's hand is. Chris is wet and Lance can't help touching him, caressing his shoulder. His whole arm is resting along Chris' back and he just wants to get away from the others and peel that wet suit off him.
Look at their eyes! Damn, this kills me. They've won another award but the only thing they see is each other. They're so proud of one another with half smiles because they know the cameras are on them. Joey just doesn't exist for them, it's one of those moments when all you see is the person you love.
Look at their hands! Look at them! Chris is blissed out as he holds Lance's hand, he's remembering how that hand was touching something else earlier as they squashed into a toilet stall before the show.
Hands again! Heads and hands touching and they're leaning into each other. Again they only see each other, none of the others round them.
Chris can't help staring at Lance. He's touching him and you can tell within seconds his other hand will be cupping Lance's ass.
You only hurt the ones you love, enough said *g*
A close up of my favourite trickyfish shot ever. The hands, look at the hands! And Chris is plastered to Lance's back and Lance wants to twist and kiss him but he's not flexible enough.
And the shot that makes it even better, Joey telling them they've been spotted.
To add to that, I love Trickyfish for the reel nsync where Lance showed he's a great partner to Chris' humour and because Chris said he was dating Lance, out loud in canon. I love them because Lance stands and rolls his eyes when Chris gets weird but you can tell he's amused really and in fic because the snark is amazing. They're both strong opinionated men who can be biting and sarcastic but also loving when need be. I love the fact that Lance grew up with Chris but has grown to be someone who is independent and an equal. I just think they fit together so well.
(2) What's your favourite English town or city and why?
I love Durham. It's close to where I live and has a Cathedral and castle. It's evolved round the river Wear so as you shop you have to cross an old bridge to get to the other side of. The streets are cobbled in places and there's a load of little shops in side alleys. There's pubs where you can sit and watch the river and if you go to one of the walks you'd think you were in the country side.
(3) What would you do on your perfect date, assuming that money isn't an issue?
I'd go to a hockey game. I'd take my flask full of chicken soup and watch the game which my team would have won. After I'd go to eat, somewhere cheap as I hate fancy restaurants. Man, I'm boring *g*
(4) Back to fanfic - what is your biggest squick?
Not much squicks me except one thing, and that's cross-dressing. And even that's not so clean cut. I don't mind men wearing women's clothes if it's part of them, for example, Kevin's manskirt or Lance in his kilt. What squicks me is if I'm reading a story and the character pulls on tights and gets off on the feel or dresses in silk knickers or something like that. In RL it doesn't bother me in the slightest but I just don't find it sexual at all. So if it happens in what's supposed to be a sensual scene I get totally squicked.
(5) If you could ask three people (dead or alive, fictional or real) to a dinner party, who would you choose, and why?
Blair Sandburg, he'd be a great dinner guest, Chris because I want to talk to him and Victor. I'm sorry that's totally shallow but if I had a chance like that I'd grab it!
