Feb. 17th, 2004 01:01 pmDoes anyone want to take me to bed? I'm squishy, warm and you can't tell on the surface I'm riddled with disease *g*
I'm sleep deprived at the moment. Step behind the cut for tales of dogs, friends, quilts and rude awakenings
Last night my best friend and her son came over and we had fun as usual. She insulted me, my house, my bobble heads! *sob sob* and I insulted her in turn, just like best friends do. We remembered things that happened at school, trash talked people and got a little awed that we'd been friends for 23 years. She went just before midnight, at which point I was flagging. But I needed to mail, or try to at least. To cut the story short I almost face planted on the desk while watching Queer Eye, so went to bed.
About 5:30 this morning I heard this noise then this horrific smell hit me. Managed to open my eyes and saw that Tex had the runs and was stuck in the bedroom, got him downstairs and in the garden then had to clean up. Which included chucking his dog quilt out as it was ruined. So there it was, 6am and I'm up again. Which is why I could do with a nap now.
Also, James is driving me nuts with his save money kick. I know it's a good thing, but still. Last night it was getting dark so he told me to put the wall light on as it only has one light bulb compared to the main light that has three. He's going to tell me to dry the tea bags after use soon I'm sure.

Date: 2004-02-17 07:38 am (UTC)Poor Tex is stretched in his downstairs bed, on a starvation diet for the day. He doesn't look happy about it though.
I did have a nap, and now I'm ready to go! Of course I've nowhere I need to go, but that's not the point *g*
Maybe I'll just sit and stare at the Trickyfish :)
