I've been to Costco today and amazingly came out without buying anything apart from the cat litter we went in for. I was tempted by a giant light-up snowman but it was a little out of my price range. If only I had a spare £100.

But, I did buy my first sparkle deer of the year! Also, a hippo tree ornament that's so ugly it had to come home with us. see.

From Costco we went to James' first counselling session -- it turned out the phone call last week was only to schedule and get things started. The office is in a business centre which is shared by lots of different offices so I got to sit in the shared kitchen and watch tv while James had his session. It looks like it's going to be good for him. There's a lot going on with him, stuff tied to his condition and how its getting worse plus the job he does, the melting point of the bad day last week being a call where someone had breathing difficulties like mam. These sessions are arranged by his work and the results fed back to them, so that should help too.
