He's adorable, but man, still tends to either be creating havoc or fast asleep. But then will clamber onto your lap for a cuddle and everything is instantly forgiven. The other day there was an almighty crash from the kitchen then the sound of splashing water. I have a wicker heart hanging in the kitchen window, he must have jumped up to get it, missed, landed on top of the vase of flowers and somehow managed to turn on the tap so water was hitting the empty sink at full force. There were petals and water everywhere, and he just sat on the table looking most put out he was now wet.
He's sort of friends with Milo now in that Milo will tolerate him for so long before pointedly walking away. Though there's a power struggle for the doughnut on the top of the cat tower going on. It's one of Milo's favourite places to sleep and is now Murphy's too. So often a lot of sneaking goes on to the claim that prize spot. Pansy still hates him though. Nothing has changed there.
Other than watching the cats little has been going on. My oldest nephew is settled in his new place and is very happy. As we couldn't deliver eggs all nieces and nephews got money transferred to them and I sent some to Corey so he could treat himself to a takeaway, or buy chocolate but I assume a pizza or some other takeaway would have been more appealing to him. I'm working my way through a chocolate Henrietta hen, and very nice she is too.
I did run out of dishwasher tablets, which is a very minor thing and not an issue as such as I have plenty of washing up liquid and can wash the dishes by hand. Just, it was reminder of how things have changed. Before I could have easily nipped over the road to Lidl and got more. Or as it was a beautiful sunny day when I ran out, picked more up from a supermarket after a drive to the beach. As it was, I really didn't want to get into the carefully spaced queue and wait ages to get in the shop just for one thing. So, waiting it is.
Oh, and like many houses on the estate, we now have teddies in some of the windows so the kids can look for them on their daily allowed walk. Except, along with the teddies I also have my ET. He's in the bedroom window looking down at the Lidl carpark and probably wanting to go home.
I've been catching up of the last season of This Is Us. I still really like the show but am at the point of thinking, omg, please, something happy happen for once. I also need to concentrate due to so many different timelines being used, often some appearing that I wasn't expecting at all.
