So I'm sitting moping around then dryope posts a picture for me, and my mood shoots up by 100%

Tine found some wonderful pics at the JJB here. See the one of Chris and his braces? That's the one Tine posted so I scrolled down the flist and there he was. EEP!

I love my friends who indulge my thing for the braces.

ETA: I went to the site these pics came from here and it's in German ( I think ) I'm intrigued by these.

I need to know what on earth they're doing sitting on giant phallic objects, apart from making me laugh and fueling my dirty mind ;) Tine, anyone who reads German, can you help me out?

ETA2: It's a tigerduck apparently. A much loved character to German children, which is why no comments about Chris and Lance riding the tigerducks will be written here. Because that's just wrong!

I know! I had to post it in my LJ because I'm laughing every time I think of it. I'm burning with curiosity about why they're sitting on them. I think the idea of anything for publicity went too far that day. But I'm glad it did because they're some of the best pictures ever!

Well, according to the site NSync were shooting an episode of the kids show "Tigerenten-Club" (that would be the tigerduck club ;-). Apparently they had a lot of fun ;-).

I did, and I'm a dork and haven't replied. I haven't changed email, but that account is probably thinking it's full all the time, cause it's really close to it. That's a tigerduck, as is really plain to see for everyone. ;)

It is the most beloved toy of the little (and slightly infantile) tiger, who is best friends with the bear and the frog.
He drags the duck around everywhere he goes, even when he decides to go to Panama, because Panama smells of bananas.
They are the heroes of German kids tv (and I might have all of them as stuffed animals).

Apparently the pics are from "Tigerenten Tv", a show where two teams of kids (the tigers and the frogs) have to compete in different skill tests and quizzes.

Kind of makes you wonder if they ever put their foot (feet?) down and said, "NO! There is no way we're doing that!" or if there were ever outfits they refused to wear. At least we have a plethora of wonderful pictures to keep us all amused.

we are so predictable :) - you're all about the braces and I'm looking at that self same photo going 'but his hair! eee!' - they really look like the faux dreads we've done for J and Matt in the past, only I don;t think they *had* the insane styling products that that required in 199widget, so I'm trying to work out how they did it - they're way too sleek to be real dreads, and there's no bands .... and he looks amazing and I luff him. All of them, but extra luff for him.

Yeah, I wonder that too. Then again when you see the stuff they did wear there really can't be much that's worse. Some of their outfits have been horrendous.

Predictable is good, especially if it gets you good links like that ;) His hair is gorgeous then. As much as I love the braids and the spikes, I think it's the dreads I like the most. If you find out make sure to let us know how it's done.

The most popular one is "Oh wie schoen ist Panama", in which the little tiger and the bear decide to move to Panama. They actually have a minor argument about, whether it was sensible to take the tigerduck with them.

The Tigerducks (funny name actually) are called Tigerenten and it's from the Tigerenten Club. It's a childrens' programme on I believe ARD (one of Germany's many many tv channels). They recieve many many guests and they're always entering on those wooden things.
The pic with the Tigerenten rodeo is probably taken during the episodes, as they always do games and stuff.
Since I'm Dutch, and capable of receiving the channel with the Tigerenten club, I'm offering to tape it once for anyone interested, just for the fun to see.
