My grandad died last night. I don't know any details yet because dad was too upset on the phone. I know Grandad had no life and was really sick and I knew this was going to happen, just not this soon.

Oh I'm so sorry, sweetie! I know he was really sick, but even when you know it, it doesn't make it easier at the time, does it?

I'm thinking of you and your family, sis - in particular about your grandma, this must have hit her like a ton of bricks.
