Aug. 23rd, 2004 11:57 amI've been reading that damn story for over a week and it's not finished! When I realised last night I may have cursed some and kicked things. Then told myself off for caring so much about a story that's nothing but badfic crack. I then consoled myself by going on a backstreet kick and in the process found a hot Chris/Wade story by allecto Buddy Fuck which is Wade/Nick then Wade/Chris hotness. I know some people don't understand what I see in the flat faced one, but Wade is hot and he's even hotter teamed with Chris *nods*
I discovered last night that Corey doesn't approve of cross-overs. He was brushing my hair ( and tugging it out at the roots, but hey, who am I to discourage his hairdressing skills ) and reading a story with me. A tame one of course, not Buddy Fuck. Anyway, he's reading away and goes Nick...Nick who? Carter from Backstreet Boys? I tell him yeah and he reads on. Nick's not in Nsync. That's stupid and with that he dismisses cross overs out of sight *g* He's off to a birthday party this afternoon so I'm going to take the time to write. I need to get this soap opera thing done and fast. I've a story that I'm doing with
forceofisis that I'm dying to start but can't until I get this one at least started. It shouldn't take long once I get going. It's just getting a start, writing that first word is always difficult then you're away. Hopefully you are anyway.
Talking of which I'd better go and fix Corey's hair. No one told me when he went for the spikes that they had to be just so. Each spike perfect and upright. I'm not used to this, all I've done for the last eight years is pull a brush through his hair. It comes to something when he has more styling products than I do *g*

Go for it. :-D

Date: 2004-08-23 05:01 am (UTC)My cousin Julien has spiked hair, and he told me
more thanall I ever wanted to know about the way one has to work on those spikes so that they looked upright and perfect and natural, in spite of the long time it actually takes to make them that way. My unruly curls may not be so bad after all, I'm just sayin'.It also reminds me of when I was in high school and Manu explained to me in great length that when I saw a guy who apparently wore a totally disheveled outfit, it was actually carefully designed to look that way.
And women are said to spend hours on their appearance? Ah!

Date: 2004-08-23 09:59 am (UTC)Corey has more hair-styling products than you... ..I find this TERRIBLY amusing.
Can he sing? You've immersed him into the sparkle so much, he may as well grow up to be in a boyband... ..you could be the next Lynn, or better yet, Bev! As long as you're not the next Jane Carter, brrr....
*g*

Date: 2004-08-23 12:16 pm (UTC)The hair brushing thing surprised me too, but he needs a gentler touch. He nearly pulled a load of tufts out last night *g*

Date: 2004-08-24 11:09 am (UTC)I'm afraid he doesn't sing and is reserved so no boybands in his future I'd imagine. I wouldn't mind being like Bev, but Jane Carter. *shivers too*
