I'm supposed to be driving to the con every day. But I've just phoned on the off chance and it's complicated and I'd have to change rooms on Sat but man. I've just provisionally booked myself in for the weekend. On my own. James is going to freak. I'm freaking.

Date: 2004-09-30 08:16 pm (UTC)Staying in the hotel gives you so much more opportunity to interact with your fellow fen; you can schmooze late into the night instead of having to be 'responsible' and take yourself home. (And, if you've stayed up late, it's safer not to be driving.)
So, have a gay old time (ahem! I guess, considering the type of the con, in both senses of the word. *g*) and I look forward to your reports on the festivities.
