I wish the coffee man would stop tempting me. I told him we didn't need things today and he held out his basket showing chocolate almond biscuits and other lovely stuff. Bad coffee man, it wasn't even the pretty one just the old grumpy guy but I was strong and sent him away.

I actually enjoyed the walk to the doctors yesterday. It was a nice evening and Corey and I talked and he was quietly singing Christmas songs they must be practicing for school. He was most astonished that I recognised the song because in his mind James and I know nothing which contradicts nicely with his views at times that we know the answer to everything. The latest being what are jellyfish made of? My answer of jelly didn't satisfy him *g* So yeah, the nurse seems to think I'm healing, one of the infection spots is nearly healed the other starting to at last. I remain cautiously optimistic as they've healed before then something went wrong. I just wish they'd give me a different dressing. The one they use now keeps falling off so I have to stick it on with tape which is so attractive, not.

We've all started to watch Extreme Makeover HE every night, it's cool as it's not often we all like the same show. James and Corey love to watch things like American Chopper and Pimp my Ride and they leave me cold, but EMHE is something we all enjoy and we sit and watch together then James mocks when I end up crying every damn night. I'm such a sap about some things and as soon as the people cry I join in. I'm sad I know.

Comments to my rec post of yesterday made me sad because it made me realise that my feedback was terrible before. It's better now, I hope, and I do try to comment on stories that I enjoy on LJ and send e-mails to others but I didn't used to, when I was intimidated by the writers. I know that makes no sense because I love any feedback that I get, but then again I don't think I'm intimidating, at least I hope not. It was nice to think of some of my favourite stories, the only bad thing was cutting them down, I could have given many many more for each one. I think I will do my recs page and I'll call it 'Stories I love, they may not be perfect, they may not be classics but they touch me and I love them so there' Catchy title eh? *g*

I friended a few people lately so if you see my name pop up and wonder who I am be reassured I'm harmless ;)

I feel the need to read some good Kevin/Nick stories. Sadly I've read the good ones over and over and looking for new stuff is a huge gamble because man, the K/N part of the BSB fandom is full of dreck. So I guess I'll resist which is a good thing really as I have a thousand things that need doing, not least opening the SeSa file which I'm going to do. Right now. As soon as I make a new cup of coffee :)

ETA:Harry Kim has just fallen down my stairs! I keep my Voyager pictures on the stairs wall and he just fell off and now he's smashed. When my heart stops trying to climb out of my chest I'll have to see if I can fix him :(

From one coffee addict to another I nearly lost myself too *g*

It was a terrible thing sending the coffee man away today but sadly I have enough coffee at the moment to last until next year. Silly man with his basket of coffee goodness. If I didn't have a fresh mug next to me I'd be making more now :)

I knew you'd like the title :D

Really even if I do simplify the title the sentiment is the same. I love stories for what they are. I don't care if no one agrees with me or a million people do.

Mwahahahaha-- *cough* *clears throat* Yeah sorry.

Hey, you'll blow my cover of being a harmless pure lady.

*stands in front of posts about bdsm, darkfic and general pervyness* ;)

Btw? Who's that coffee man you mentioned? Do you mean there's a guy going from house to house with coffee and chocolate and stuff??

Yup. He comes every week. There's a company called Ringtons and they sell coffee/tea/biscuits etc door to door. They have these old fashioned looking vans and the men use big baskets that they fill with a selection of goodies. We always get our coffee from them and sometimes the most gorgeous chocolate almond biscuits.

Sure, next time he comes I'll point over your way and say you're waiting. I'll even make sure it's the pretty coffee man and not the old grump :)

First of all; poor Harry Kim! I hope you can fix him!

I know what you mean, for a long time I didn't write feedback, but sometime last year (or was it this year?) I started to write more and more feedback. Even if it's just a "I liked it." Authors more than deserve it.

I hope that we're going to get a few good K/N stories with SeSa!

*wide eyes* you have a coffee man?
also, EMHE makes me cry too. every danm time. and oh, when they had that 12 hour thing in NYC, the designer guy with the dark hair was wearing the blue striped shirt with white jacket over like Usher, and the blue striped shirt was like the one JC wore.

We do have a coffee man. He comes every week to deliver coffee/tea and stuff.

I'm glad it's not just me that's a sap about EMHE. I like the sound of that outfit too, I know who you mean but am blanking the name.

I hope I can fix him too. Hearing his smash to the floor took a year off my life I'm sure.

I totally agree about feedback. I didn't feedback so much for many reasons, most due to the fact I'm by nature a lurker and it took me a long time to be comfortable actually 'talking' to people. But yeah, I liked its are more than fine.

I hope we get some good K/N stories too because lets face it the fandom needs them. I have much love for that icon too.

lol that would be perfect! :D

Thank you :) It's how I feel. I enjoy stories for how they make me feel, if that's different to how others feel, tough.

I love coke too, I guess there's a caffeine theme going on here *g*

Sometimes I think I should tell the writers more than just a simple "I liked it", but usually I'm not very coherent and sometimes I can't exactly say why I like something or why I didn't like it.

I have much love for that icon too.

Hee! Thanks :-). It's actually the my first SDB icon I made and used. I still have mad love for it :-D.
