I wish I could turn my slash goggles off sometimes because watching the celebrity big brother evictions and being hit with Kenzie/Jeramy slash is wrong. Just no, yet my mind insisted on trying to go there.
Good news yesterday when the nurse said I can cut down the doctors visits to one a week, which man, is a relief.
The FiL is coming soon to help decorate the kitchen. I'm supposed to be clearing the walls and benches, yet I'm sitting here. Damn, I really better go get started. Okay, that went well. It's hours later and he's painting in the kitchen and I'm sitting here keeping out of the way. This is after a major argument earlier between James and I which I won't bore you with details but I'll mention one thing. If you go for the big storm out of the room make sure you don't kick something solid when you've no shoes on, because firstly ouch, secondly hopping in pain really spoils the dramatic moment *g*
Thinking of the in laws. They may be taking Corey on holiday, either a weekend or if I decide it's okay a full week. It's just it'll be on a school week and I hate keeping him out of school. However, I doubt we'll be able to go on holiday this year so that makes me think I should let him go. James did mention that the in laws thought we should go down with them and spend the weekend before coming home for work. Which yeah, I'm so thrilled about because you know 6 adults, a toddler and an eight year old would fit in a caravan so wonderfully.
Moving on. I'm so tempted by the challenge that
without_me and
musicdiamond have arranged. I'm sitting here thinking about whether Chris/Nick would be better to write than Chris/JC, then smiling at the beautiful image of Chris/JC/Nick ( which is partially
interlocks fault and she knows why *g* ) I especially like that AU's are encouraged but as I wrote an AU for SeSa I'm thinking a real time story would be better. I don't know, I have an idea nibbling which is exciting. That first step to a new story which you know will drive you insane yet you still want to get started now.
I may just sit and think for a while as I sort out my footage folder, answer comments and mess with PS. I can't do anything more involved due to the painting going on right behind me. Oh wow! It's snowing! The first snow of the season. I must go and open the blinds so I can see. But first I've a few new icons which I'll GIP later but I'll start with this one, because Timbertrick rocks my world.

Date: 2005-01-22 05:22 pm (UTC)Any Chris pairing is, well, has a better chance at me reading it than other pairings *g* But TrickC, man. The only thing that comes even close is Trickyfish.
It really is all about Chris, isn't it? ;)

Man, your icon. You know it always makes me want to tug at those earrings with my teeth.

Date: 2005-01-22 06:13 pm (UTC)It's a shame if you kept away from all challenges because you're a really good writer. However, I know challenges aren't for everyone and you're so busy being a kick ass student that some things have to wait.
I really do love your stuff though, challenge written or not.
Yes! Babies!

Date: 2005-01-22 06:29 pm (UTC)Well it's like this. I often get asked why I say I don't have a OTP when it's blatantly obvious that it's TrickC. That's when I break out my pre prepared answer how I love them all but it's the trickc that holds my heart. Because it's true!
You considered doing the challenge? Just the thought of that makes me want to squee. Your snippets are so beautiful I'd love to see a longer example. I think you'd do great.
Yes, you're forgiven. Only cuz I love ya! ;-)
Phew *wipes brow*
Just the thought of being banished from the trickc posse made me faint!
Is this a better GIP for you? ;)
