Kayleigh comes home from holiday today, James went to pick her up this morning in fact so she should be back soon. I've missed her while she was gone, not that I'd tell her that ;)

I don't rec things often because recs are so subjective and what I like other people could hate. But I read pierson's Into the Fire yesterday and loved it so much. I'm in awe of anyone that can write an AU like that, so vivid and full of detail. The story pulled me right in and didn't let go until the very end. It's trickc with a lot of Kevin, and just...I love the world she created. There was one moment between Chris and JC that just pulled on my heart strings and it was so obvious how much they cared for one another. I loved it so much and just had to mention it here.

Reading that makes me want to finish my own story that I started in that kind of universe. Then again right now I'd rather write out the phone book by hand than what I'm supposed to be doing.

Answers to digital_diva's questions

1) imagine I show up at your doorstep right now, would the coffee be ready?

Of course it would! It's always ready, except when it's not. Like first thing in the morning or I'm not here. Heck I'd even clean a mug for you ;)

2) imagine I show up at your doorstep with JC and Chris, would I even get any coffee if it were ready? :-p

Well that depends. Do you mind licking coffee from skin? Because I'm thinking what we'd do is get them naked and on the floor, all curled up together. JC's leg over Chris', Chris' hand resting on JC's thigh, fingers splayed as he gently strokes in tiny movements as JC wiggles and tries to stay still. Their faces would be close together and Chris would lean forward, nipping at JC's bottom lip, watching as JC responds by deliberately licking his own lips, so slow as he stares at Chris, saying so much without words, and just, gah! Yes. The coffee would be poured over them as they keep each other busy and you could lick it off any place you please.

3) what makes you laugh?

You :D Lots of things make me laugh, stand up comedians and jokes in general leave me cold though. My humour is more visual. Red Dwarf especially makes me cry with laughter.

4) where would you like to be right now?

Many places. At the ocean with my boys. Sitting chatting with friends. When I was at Whitby I sat at the end of a pier with interlock and we chatted about so many things. I loved that. A gorgeous location and a good friend is a lovely thing. There's so many people I'd love to do that with, just chat without pressure. At your house, then you could make me cake and coffee and we could bitch in person. But you know the place I was when you posted that question is pretty good too. Talking to someone I like loads, getting ready to pick up my son who I adore, knowing James was bringing my sister home. There's not much wrong with that situation.

5) the two of us go on holiday together. where are we going? why? what would we do? would we survive? ;-)

We are? YAY! Okay, lets go to America and stalk see the sdbs and all the people we like. We'd go on a road trip, good music, snacks, coffee in a flask, sun and talk as we drove from place to place. We'd go to all the places Chris and JC have been seen and take pictures next to Chris' community and the place JC gets his gas. Making sure the pump is upside down *g* We'd eat too much, drink too much, go from LJer to LJer until they're all sick of us and start locking the door when we're in town. We'd write porn en route, a huge sprawling road trip epic where Chris and JC screw across America and we'd read parts aloud as we go, laughing at the people who stare when we stop in jams and traffic lights but still read aloud about JC rimming Chris. Then laugh more when they look away in disgust when we discuss what the guys sound like when they come, acting out the sounds for examples. I think we would survive; just ;)

I just hope you know how to drive as I don't *g*
