turpsThe Subway Sandwich chain has just opened in my area. In the last month about five of the shops have sprung out of nowhere. Today James bought me a sandwich from there and man, it was £5. That's just wrong. Who pays that much for a sandwich? apart from James obviously I mean, just no. It sucked too, for that price I'd expect a feast in a bun not a nasty ass horrible sloppy sandwich.
Moving on, the reason he bought dinner is because I've been sick again. After coming home I developed another infection because I'm clever like that. As soon as I saw the nurse she called in the doctor and I'm now on a combination of three different antibiotics that surely should be doom for any germ in my body. Which is good because being sick again sucks. However, things aren't all bad, in fact there was a shiny moment of joy. To set the scene, last October I saw the dermatologist at the hospital and he prescribed this stuff called granuagel. Which I've had to use every freakin day since. Problem is this stuff smells horrible and man, if you have confidence issues anyway worrying constantly that you smell just adds to them. Yesterday, Wendy the nurse said as it wasn't working it was time to stop using the stinky stuff. Moment. Of. Shiny. Joy! If I could I would have ceremoniously burned every tube I have in the house. As it was all I could do was laugh when she remarked she didn't know how I stuck it out for so long. I mean what was I supposed to do? Rebel and refuse to use it?
I caught up on the flist earlier but had to skim a lot. I hate doing that but as it is I was at nearly skip 800 and have multiple tags open. So if I missed something, sorry. Just prod me if it was important.
On the off chance. Has anyone got a hidden Chris epic hidden away? I want to read something new. No? *looks around* Want to write me a Chris epic then? Still no? It was worth a try I guess *g*
I fully blame being sick for the AJ penis thing....wait. Screw that, no I don't. It was all Eva's fault! ;)

However, panera bread is more upscale than subway, they've got gormet sandwhiches but on the downside, everything there costs at least five USD, if not more. Three sandwiches without drinks can cost up to seventeen dollars. However, the bread is better than subway and you an taste things, not like in subway. It would be worth the trip for their 2 dollar souwerdough breadloaves alone. mmm.
I'm sorry you feel so sick, honey. Really, it sucks that you do. *hugs* I hope this clears up quick.

I love the sound of those sandwiches, bread is a good thing and trying new stuff is always good. Which is why I was disappointed with Subway I guess when their sandwich was so bad. I've never tried sourdough bread. I should try and remedy that I think.
Yeah, it's getting a bit annoying now. Mostly because other health related things are going so well then this happens and I'm confined to the house again to rest up and heal. But it'll pass, everything does after all.
