turpsMy aunt and cousin were supposed to come today. After spending a load of time getting things really tidy they didn't turn up. Finally after texting them I got a message saying something came up and they'd maybe come on Sunday. Which yeah, it would have been nice if they'd told me earlier. However, as it was my friend and her son turned up and we spent a happy afternoon talking and downloading music. She also gave me a huge ego boost when she asked if I'd lost weight as my face looked smaller, so yay for that.

fic_requests, because threemanbus! A thing of beauty! You should go check it out because Lydia wrote threemanbus! Did I mention that? *g* I also ventured to fanficnet today to check out the Mutant X stories and my favourite crackfic had been updated after months. It was like people knew I was having an awful morning and eased it with stories. The story is the one where Brennan had been shot, thrown in a watery hole, beaten up, caught pneumonia, hit over the head, attacked by beasts, broke his leg, was operated on without aesthetic, hauled up a cliff, escaped and was recaught, was bitten again and finally escaped with Jesse who lowered him down the cliff but dropped him so he landed on a ledge with a cave behind and guess what was in the cave? More beasts! Pure crackfic. I love it!
There was also a cool story about the Double Helix going down in the mountains which I enjoyed a lot. I just love all the clichéd stories like that, bus crashes and disasters. Airplanes going down and people being forced to survive against the odds. It takes skill to write a cliché so it's believable, of course lots of cliché stories have no believability at all but they have their own charm. Because really, I have to enjoy reading the BSB kidnapped and forced to escape a madwoman after being abandoned in the wilderness.
Moving on, I enjoyed Big Brother a lot tonight. No spoilers but if Kinga wins or even gets in the last three I'll be spitting mad. Anyone that masturbates with a wine bottle on tv gets no love from me, and man, she's so damn loud. Loud all the time too, not just when she's using the wine bottle.
Now bedtime I think.
