If you read my last post you'll have seen the story about my in laws. Well, a woman's magazine phoned the SiL asking if they could feature her story and they'd pay her for it. Another magazine contacted the MiL too but she doesn't want to do it. Hearing this James got very excited and immediately started wondering if they'd want his story, about having to decide to amputate his leg and struggling to prove himself as a capable person despite prejudices, things like that. We were shopping earlier, standing in the queue, he looks at me and says 'you write, you could send in a good story, just don't include any gay porn'. Because I'd so write to a magazine about James' life story and slip in some gay porn. I swear he's not right in the head at times. So yes, he really wants to do this and it's my job to look through the magazines, select one then tell his story. Oh joy.

The Worst Case Scenario challenge is due very soon and there's no way I'll be able to do my story for it. I feel bad, it'll be the first challenge I've ever not delivered on, but as it stands I have about half a page and that's it. I do have an idea and even have the story plotted out but I just don't have the time to do it justice. Which is a shame as I think it would have worked nicely. Then again, maybe it's for the best, fandom may not be ready for Lance to be blown up by a mine.

I hope you all know how fabulous madame_d is, because she mailed me to let me know Lansync3 is posted and specifically that it contained Chris/Nick rimming which is just.... *flails* I love people who know what I like *g* Of course I now have to uphold my end of the deal....eep.

Now I need to beg help from people who use the torrents. I use Azuerus and it works fine, I get good speeds but the problem is it's crashing my computer, over and over again. I've googled the problem and tried a load of fixes but it's still happening which is really annoying. So yes, does anyone have any suggestions? Related to the torrents, I've Supernatural to watch once I've picked up Corey. I've heard good things about the show so I hope it lives up to the hype.

Before I go, for anyone that wants a song they can associate with me have Savage Garden's To the Moon and Back. I love SG so picking one song was really hard, but in the end I ended with this one because it appeals to my little sci fi loving heart.

and the only problem with you pulling out of the challenge - which what with the amount of time you've spent in hospital / being ill / dealing with drama is perfectly reasonable - is that I still want to read the story! I am totally not ready to see lance getting blown up by a mine, but ready to cry about it, so .. *sniff*
