Happy birthday, jaciesplace I hope you're having a fantastic day. *twirls you round*

Because I had a hospital appointment at 9 James dropped me off at the doctors on the way home. I was 40 minutes early so he stayed to keep me company until he had to go to work. I was hoping they'd let me in early as it's been raining really hard all day and I wanted a lift home. But he had to go and of course just as he exited the door my name flashed up on the screen. So I go in, get seen to, hurry out within minutes and phone him to come back, only to find he'd turned his ringer off. I was so pissed off and sent a flurry of texts and voice mails telling him so. I mean, the walk home isn't that bad, even if it is all up hill and I end up puffing like crazy at the end of it. It's just it was so wet and cold and the sole of my shoe had split so my foot was squelching and he could have had me home in minutes. Did I mention I was pissed off? Anyway, I've been getting grovelling texts ever since and I even answered some of them ;)

Good news at the dieticians though where I found out I've lost another 14 pounds. I was actually fairly confident this time because I've been walking a lot and pretty much sticking to the low fat diet. Now if only I could stop the craving for Haribo sour mix.

It's funny, I was thinking of it in terms of person weight earlier. I mean, numbers are all well and good but when you think it's the same as carrying someone, if a light someone, well it seems more then.

and it is! that's like--- 38 kilos, now? wow. if my sister lost 38 kilos, I think the only thing left would be her big head! ;p
