I had the most horrendous dream last night where both James and my mam died the same day. I feel like I've been grieving all night and was so pleased to wake up.

Corey's still in bed so I assume his belly has settled down, so I'm grabbing some much needed flist time because can you believe it, I'm actually going out tonight. To an actual place with adults. Will wonders never cease? It's one of James' friends 21st birthday party, which means meeting strangers, and not only strangers but work mate strangers. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous, but fingers crossed, things will be fine when we get there. omgIwanttostayathome!

I was supposed to be going to Sunderland yesterday because James wanted to buy me clothes for my birthday. Of course I couldn't go so he got them himself, and just, man. It shows that you should always pick your own clothes. He had a good try, but sadly not good enough. He got a skirt which admittedly is lovely, but is far too short. I like my skirts ankle length if possible to hide my nasty ass legs. Also a nice top, which sadly is a size too small. I get his reasoning, I have lost weight but the top is made of material with no give so I looked like a sausage stuffed in a too small skin. Which isn't good for the ego at all. Oh well, that's why returns are there and I can go myself tomorrow.

It seems my hex on all things swap related has reared again. My original sesa writer dropped out, I didn't get a gift in the Christmas gift exchange ( though I did get a lovely ficlet in that so that was fine ) and the person who's writing for the sparklydarkcomm story swap hasn't delivered. I've obviously annoyed the fandom swap gods. I'll have to think of how to appease them. Think a mental image of a random naked sdb spread across an alter would do it? ;) Then again, if that first sesa writer hadn't dropped out I wouldn't have got the lovely story I did, so things balance out in the end.

Before I go. Thank you Nsync for the lovely Valentine, but how did you know I had Nick hidden in my house? The possibility of future GSF with a bonus Nick in my living room makes me very happy :) *sends smooches down south*

ETA: Right now my yousenditget has Lance's Higglytown ep downloading and underneath that is porn. I love my flist *g*

what a horrible dream! *pets* It must have been sich a relief to wake up!

Where are you off too tonight? Pub thing?

Hee - I don;t think J's ever bought me clothes when I wasn't there - it's just too risky. Even if all the numbers are right, there's no guarentee that the shop will have made that size x top the same as all the other size x tops you have at home ...

No swap story? After all that with your? *grrrrrrr*. Although you can polish your halo for getting yours done - what did your recipient think?

*snuggles some more*

I swear. I have a gift for you. I have to get to the post office, which has become a major challenge.

In short? I suck. :o(

Oh man, no. In no way did I want you to feel bad. I was just thinking on the sdb challenge and having a laugh that another writer had pulled out. I need to make different requests I think *g*

Honestly, you wrote me something and that's gift enough for me. So, please, don't beat yourself up. You don't suck in the slightest.

you have a swap story coming.. honest. Just not from who you would think it'd be from and it looks like it's going to be long, so you might be getting it in stages.

But it's going to fit soon!

*hugs* what a terrible dream.

I hope Corey is feeling better. I wish I had any good recipies for stomach aches like the one for the cold, but my mind is drawing a blank.

If I remember one, though, you'll be the first one to know.

*hugs back* It was a terrible dream, one of those ones you're glad to wake from.

He's much better, thank you. But if you do remember I'd love to know, your cold recipe rocks.

I wasn't worried, honestly. I was more amused at the sequence of writers that have given up on my requests. Like I told Josh, I read some wonderful stories from the challenge, and I'm happy with that.

Not that I'd turn more away, but at the same time. Don't put yourself out on my accord, because I'm fine. Really. *smooch*

Pft. Its not a problem.

Just think who the 4 mods of SDB are - do you think any of them would let you be skipped over?
