Normally I'm all about sitting on that fence and not making waves, but I've just skimmed the flist, and that meme about gay rights that's going around pisses me off. Big time.

Especially this part. If you don't believe in gay rights, then just ignore this. Thanks.

So, if I decide not to copy paste a block of words into my journal I'm this uncaring thing that doesn't give a damn?

The people I read on here, I read them because I like them, I know what they believe. I don't need a mass posted thing to try and guilt me into doing the same.

I get the sentiment. I really do. But the wording?

I'm going to regret posting this I know. Should have just vented to friends, but sometimes that fence gets uncomfortable.

Yeah, I think that too. It's just so insulting the way it is phrased. I'm not going to post it, does that make me some kind of homophobe? Will five seconds of time to copy paste something make me a better pro-gay person?

If people don't realize that I'm about as pro-gay as it's possible to be, they obviously don't know me, lol
