Jul. 13th, 2007 09:53 amThe men came first thing this morning to put in the new boiler. They've got all the doors open, have been rummaging through cupboards to turn off the water. Which is another thing, I so want a cup of tea, and it's only because I have no water to make one. The cats are locked in bedrooms, the dog is at my mam's, and I have many hours of banging and crashing to come.
I hate being along with workmen in the house. That's James' job, he's the one who likes nattering to them. Sadly, he's at work.
Oh well. Shiny new boiler and working heat at the end of this. That's totally of the win.

Exactly! James just goes and chatters away, but I can't do that. So I keep out of the way and hope they come to me if they need something. One just came asking for a drink but of course we had no water and there's no pop in the house. He ended up with milk and of course I'm wondering if I should have been ready for this situation and had drinks in the house.
I so over think things at times.
