The Dragon, Dwarves and Dolphin challenge authors were revealed today.

I guess it's no surprise to some people that I wrote, Like It Says On the Can

I only committed myself to the challenge about a week before it was due, as until then I had no ideas at all. Then I did, and in the next week I pulled a story together that I like. My beta readers are stars, as at one point I re wrote until well after midnight, sent off the file, woke at 6, got the changes and wrote again, just so I could submit in time. So, ephemera_pop and nopseud. Thank you. You're both amazing. Thank you also to llamabitchyo, msktrnanny and sperrywink for being there too, and in one of their cases, saying something that resulted in the whole story. You're all stars.

I'll be honest. The story won't be for everyone. It's a hopefully amusing take on a documentary about fetish. So please, I won't be at all offended if you don't want to read. Don't force yourself to do so. Because it does involve such things as talking about car and plushie fucking, as well as other surprises.

I really think it needs to be written. Like, especially since what I'm working on instead is an AU in which Justin is a soldier back from Iraq where his secret lover, NICK, has died horribly. There is something BROKEN in my brain! Clearly, carfic will fix it!

It wasn't easy being a custom built kit car. For a long time JC had been the envy of all his friends, tricked out and modified in the latest style. Horns would beep as he drove past with his psychedelic swirling fabric seats, and his glossy pink paint with the zebra print detailing.

He was king of the roads.

And then he wasn't. He was too much, too garish and despite being toned down - re-painted a dull grey, the naked ladies peeled from his bonnet -- one day he was attached to a tow truck and driven away.

Trying to protest, JC honked his horn, tried to lock his wheels, but it was no good. All he could do was close his headlights and be taken away.

"Back him up."

Pulled out of a dream of a sweet VW Beatle with the sleekest of curves, JC looked around, saw the piled up remains of many cars. Tangled and misshapen and when JC was parked next to a doorless Audi, he wanted to cry.

Oh. MY GOD. I love you. And. AND. Justin would be like, a lamborghini, and Joey would be a minibus. And um. Lance would be...something really gay. A big pink truck with flames like this girl I knew from high school had! And um. Chris would be...what would Chris be????

ANd Justin, he'd be all, "Can't you go any faster? Jesus, people! JC is about to be CRUSHED INTO A CUBE and you're obeying the speed limit??"
