Jan. 27th, 2009 02:50 pmDue to unfortunate timing on her part she replied to a comment when I was deep in US geography hell, Greyhound routes and prices open in one tab, a map of the US in another. I repeatedly switched between both and wanted to head desk as I realised tickets were way above what poor Spencer and Ryan could afford, plus, two days travel to get to the original destination.
So now, with helpful suggestions, they're hitching from the start, and going in a completely different direction. Though I do feel like telling them, don't get in the truck, bad things will happen!
At the tail end of this Greyhound angst, and while I was making dinner, I had the most delicious idea that would work nicely. Gleeful, I explained the new idea to the cats, but sadly they were underwhelmed. Stupid cats.
Still, at least they're travelling now, on the way to Mikey and Pete. That is, Ryan and Spencer are on the way, the cats are asleep in various positions around the house.
In other news, cycle 11 of ANTM started here last night. Tyra is as crazy as ever. I love it. And no spoilers, please. Some people seem to think shows of this kind don't deserve spoiler consideration, but they so do.
A lot of shows have started again this week, which is why I had to sit and programme the sky plus the other day, which involved a lot of shuffling. Because heaven help us if two shows record at once and James can't watch what he wants on tv. With all the shuffling there's still a 25 minute block on a Thursday where he has to watch what's being recorded, watch something that has been recorded, or do something else entirely. You can believe he's not impressed.
In conclusion, there should be more body swap stories, because they're awesome.

Date: 2009-01-27 05:11 pm (UTC)Isn't that JUST LIKE A CAT? *g*
Actually, it's pretty much just like a teenage boy, too. Matthew will bug me and bug me "what're you working on, mom?" So when I do finally figure out a G/PG-rated version of whatever, and spill it all, so excited, he'll look at me and say, "uh. Okay."
!!!!!
*sigh* At least the cats don't ask you to share and then take the wind out of your sails.
I think this comment calls for a Cramp, don't you? ;)

Date: 2009-01-27 09:30 pm (UTC)Though your comment about Matthew reminds me of James. The only time he ever asks about what I'm writing is SeSa time, it's like he has this date in his mind that says, Christmas, must ask Terri about SeSa. So he does, and I start to explain and less than a minute later he's lost all interest.
So yeah. I get you. This is why we need fannish people around at all times.
It does!
