I'd imagine they do get used to it until they go away for a significant amount of time. Then come back and are hit by the stench again.

LOL, yeah. That is one thing I can definitely say is NOT appealing about the idea of being in a band.

Though I have to say, I get it to some degree thanks to belly dancing and how quickly we get used to each others' smells.

Or another suggestion is he sleeps in it too. It gets magically ironed by body heat! Then when he wakes up he has to break the stiff fabric before it can actually move.
