dancinbutterfly has been telling me what she wants for her help_hiati story and what she wants is so happy making. I've written Mikey/Pete a lot, but not for a long story focussed on them. I'm excited for getting started.

Do you all remember Governess Mikey? If you don't, shame on you! Anyway, delphinapterus suggested Mikey looked like Jemima Puddle-Duck with Gabe as Mr Fox and Alicia as brave Kep. Which really, way to give me glee. Then to make it even better, she wrote it for me. I told her that it needed to be posted, and she did! So go, read all about Mikey Puddle Duck ♥

Yesterday Nanna came up to visit. It's her 90th birthday next month and she was telling me how she'd booked places at a restaurant to celebrate, then stressed that as she was paying only the adults could go, which of course meant not me. Which made me laugh because to her I'm always going to be about 15.

Anyway, time to wake James up. It's his day off today and we've things to do, including picking up paving slabs later. Did I mention we're getting a greenhouse off freecycle? Well we are.

I apparently made a Gabe icon within two seconds of seeing his pic from that shoot, so it's a good thing there isn't a hires version of the Mikey & Gerard one, as I have no icon slots left. Damn you, free lj! (One day I shall have money and I shall have ten billion icon slots, and it will be fantastic.)
