dancinbutterfly has been telling me what she wants for her help_hiati story and what she wants is so happy making. I've written Mikey/Pete a lot, but not for a long story focussed on them. I'm excited for getting started.
Do you all remember Governess Mikey? If you don't, shame on you! Anyway,delphinapterus suggested Mikey looked like Jemima Puddle-Duck with Gabe as Mr Fox and Alicia as brave Kep. Which really, way to give me glee. Then to make it even better, she wrote it for me. I told her that it needed to be posted, and she did! So go, read all about Mikey Puddle Duck ♥
Yesterday Nanna came up to visit. It's her 90th birthday next month and she was telling me how she'd booked places at a restaurant to celebrate, then stressed that as she was paying only the adults could go, which of course meant not me. Which made me laugh because to her I'm always going to be about 15.
Anyway, time to wake James up. It's his day off today and we've things to do, including picking up paving slabs later. Did I mention we're getting a greenhouse off freecycle? Well we are.

Date: 2010-01-26 07:56 pm (UTC)Nanna makes me laugh constantly. I thought I was going to have a full visit without her mentioning something that needed tidying as the house was spotless. Then we went in the hall on the way out and she told me it was too dark *g*
We are. My brother has had one for a year and enjoys it a lot, so James got the bug. When he could get his hands on one free he went for it.
