Thunderbird has tabs! This delights me, and shows I really should read the release notes when they pop up on a restart. Of course what this means is I'll end up with multiple tabbed emails that still won't get sent. But still, tabbed email!

I've got 4 scenes left on the story I'm writing right now. However, one of those is a sex scene that's had a place holder for ages, which will no doubt add another week on to the finishing time when I turn into Terri the Victorian maiden aunt. It's such a short part too as the second part of the scene is already written, it' s just missing the vital actually having sex part. Then I noticed that the rpf big bang is starting up again. I enjoyed taking part last year but I don't know about joining again. Getting media for my story was awesome but I had to sit on it and not post a complete story for months. That was hard because I was all kinds of impatient. I'll have to think about it, on one hand it's only 15k, but on the other, autumn posting time.

Gerard's Nylon interview was a thing of beauty. It's sad that the album has been pushed back again but there was so much to make up for that. The art supplies. The manifest. Him and Mikey as mole people which come on, is so an AU waiting to happen. Mikey and Gerard the mole people tentatively emerging into the sunlight to be taken care of by the overlanders. What? It could happen that way!

I've got a kind of love-hate relationship with tabs. On the one hand I love them because of how much easier they make it to read my flist, on the other hand having a bunch of tabs open forever makes me feel alls stressed. So I compromise by never saving any tabs overnight. Those I haven't managed to finish with that day goes into my delicious if they're stories, or onto the desktop if they're not. Strangely enough having a bunch of URLs cluttering up my desktop doesn't stress me half as much as having lots of opened tabs does.

Good luck with the writing! You'll soon be finished, I'm sure of it!!

Mikey and Gerard as mole people would be pretty much the most adorable thing ever!! Someone needs to write it...

The thought of clearing away my tabs makes me feel faint. Your system makes sense but I have tabs I always have open and some stories that have been there for months.

I've got three scenes to go now!
