Yesterday was national kissing day, and I was talking about how it would have been a good excuse for a kiss meme, and how it seemed those kind of themed memes seemed to have died out a little.

Various people suggested I host one myself, and I figured why not? The worst that could happen is no one plays or comments and I end up with an empty post. Therefore....



Now, rules, and if I've missed something you think should be there or have been unclear just let me know.


All previous and current bandom bands and members are welcome.
All pairings are welcome. Threesomes, moresomes, bring them on. Gen is fine too, and if you want to do solo kisses somehow, I'd love to see how.
Any kinds of kisses go, on the hand, on the forehead, making out for hours, brotherly kisses, friendly kisses, the kind in the middle of hot, sweaty sex.

Leave a prompt with the kind of kiss you'd like to see. Either general ( I love kisses in the rain ) or specific ( I'd love to see Frank kiss Gabe and have to stand on a box to do so ) but remember don't get too detailed, try for a middle balance.
You can leave as many prompts as you want, but only one prompt per comment.
If you want to answer your own prompt, go for it. The more kisses the better.
Prompts can be filled more than once with either fic or art.
You can write/draw as little or as much as you like.
If you do write/draw please put a pairing and title in the subject line, that way I can link from the main post.

The Warmth of Spring Brendon/Brent

*warnings- 16 year olds kissing, vague highschool au, fluff, also this is the first time I've written this pairing(sorry if it sucks)*


Brent has no idea why he’s walking home from school. He could have just as easily bummed a ride from a friend, or taken the bus; it goes right by his house. But no, he’s walking and his backpack feels like it’s been stuffed full of bricks and maybe a few hundred tons of cement. Why do teachers think it’s acceptable to give their students an ass load of homework right before spring break?

Brendon does some sort of spazzy skip move to his right and Brent stops thinking about what ring of hell Mr. Riley crawled out of before he started his career as a highschool history teacher. He’s still certain it’s the deepest, darkest, evilest sector, because who else would want a five page paper on WWII turned in -no complaints or asking for more time- bright and early next Monday morning? Not that Brent really has plans for spring break, maybe dick around on his bass or play twelve hours of video games in one go before doing anything else, but still, it’s the principle of the matter.

He could ask Brendon to come over, but there’s a seventy five percent chance Brendon’ll frown and drop his shoulders before saying he has to be home. Apparently, his parents clued in on him sneaking out awhile back and he’s not allowed out past five now unless he has work. It’s cut into their hanging out time and that’s the main reason Brent’s walking home. They’ve been friends since freshman year and he’s used to their friend time.

And, ok, maybe Brent has a little crush. Not that it’s a thing or anything because, 1, he’s not a twelve year old girl reading Teen Bop and pining after some tween popstar, and 2, even if Brendon felt the same way, there’s an at least eighty five percent chance he’d back away because of what his family’d think. Brent’s not going to put Brendon in that situation, however, apparently he is, without meaning to.

In between the walk from school to where Brendon works -a tiny Dairy Cow Ice Cream Shop that sits right in the center of one of the many strip malls that are everywhere- there’s an old unkempt park. If Brent tags along for the walk, the two of them’ll end up bumming around the park until Brendon has to sprint the rest of the way so he has time to change into his uniform in one of the bathroom stalls before his shift starts.

They’re barely past the gap in the park fence that they usually use when Brendon trips. Brent catches him by the shoulder so he won’t fall and Brendon smiles at him. Before he can say anything about being saved and how Brent’s a regular knight in beat up sneakers and faded jeans, Brent leans forward and kisses him. He wasn’t even planning on kissing Brendon, like ever, but yeah, apparently, the little voice in his head that has a thing for Brendon decided it didn’t care, and fuck, Brendon’s kissing back.

When Brendon pulls away, his cheeks are flush and his glasses are slipping down the bridge of his nose. Brent leans forward to straighten them for him when his backpack’s weight of a million stones pitches him forward. They both go down hard. Brendon doesn’t seem to mind though and his laughter rings out in the sun warmed air. Brent kisses him again.

He wishes they could just stay in the park, kissing, but Brendon has work and he can’t miss a shift or his parents might get wind of it. There’s no telling what punishment he’d get if that happened, so Brent doesn’t want to push his luck. He helps Brendon up, after they both have their backpacks settled again, and Brendon doesn’t drop his hand when they start walking again. It’s weird holding hands, but Brent’s not going to say no, especially with the grin that’s shining brightly on Brendon’s lips. They’re going to have to talk soon about what just happened, but for now, things are awesome and Brent doesn’t want to fuck with that. He’ll take what he can get, no matter what that ends up being.

Brent fic! I see that so rarely and I really like him here. How he still sounds so young complaining about homework and school and yet is aware that Brendon's got home issues.

the prompt made me go to something with highschoolers and I couldn't not have the complaining.
