First, to the person who bought me a year of DW time. Thank you. I was blown away when I saw this morning. I'm assuming that you saw my comment to Turlough about my lack of icon slots, and if so, just, thank you. Random acts of kindness like that are why I love fandom so much, and I promise to pay it forward in any way that I can.

Second, the no_tags stories have started to be posted. I'm looking forward to having a good wallow and read later, because time after time, this challenge produces amazing stories. So you know, if you love bandom, go read and feed give the writers some love.

Third, I got such a lovely comment about For an Audience of One this morning. I've been a little disheartened about fic comments lately, so to get this was a lovely surprise, plus it makes me happy that somewhere in the world, someone's need for a Mikey/VickyT pegging story with voyeur Gabe has been fulfilled by me.

Finally, Electric Century released I Lied, and I like it a lot. Let's be real, I was always going to like the band due to Mikey being part of it, but that didn't mean I'd like the music. But it turns out, admittedly based on this one song, I do. I've played it often since last night, and am still enjoying listening, and boggling at the fact Mikey's singing backing vocals, because the idea of Mikey singing will forever amuse me.

Also, as much as I love Mikey and Gerard's relationship I love that this is something Mikey's done on his own, because I imagine Gerard's shadow is a big one to stand under.

Now if only I could find a download that will actually play on my computer. Sorted.

Right, it's a lovely sunny day so I'm going to put the rest of the washing on the line, make a mug of coffee then read for a while, starting with the response to my prompt. An excellent plan I think.

I REALLY like the song because it's very much like you'd hear it at a New Wave club in the late 80s. So I was really grooving to it.
