I'm home now but don't know what to do. There's nothing to do until tomorrow.

She had a hospital appointment on Monday and it went well. She wasn't even ill in terms of her own health.

But this time yesterday she was alive, and now she's not, and it's not fair. Why dad, and then nanna and now mam?

I'm sorry. I need to go do something. I just don't know what.

Yeah, sounds unexpected all things considered. What a hardship. And, yeah, life is unfair in the extreme, you've had a rough go of it these last couple of years.
