Snowflake Challenge Day 15

And now, the final Snowflake challenge. I'm going to miss them.


Day 15

Talk about why you participated in Snowflake &/or what you got out of it. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

I've taken part in Snowflake since the start, and every year brings new, amazing things.

Timing wise it's perfect, as you step away from the old year and into the new. And it's nice to start that new year with fun things to do. I love the sense of community, and the fact the challenge is so non-demanding. It doesn't matter if you do one challenge or all of them, you're still part of Snowflake. I love getting to know new people, some of whom I only see around Snowflake time, others who stay and become friends.

Personally, it's helped maintain my creativity, and that feels so fantastic. Now I'm doing it again I'm reminded how much I enjoy writing.

Highlights were the recs posts because it allowed me to go out and check new fandoms and it's so great to see people proud of what they create.

I'm going to miss the challenges, but I know Snowflake will be back. So, thank you to the mods for being so amazing, and to everyone that stops by with a comment. Here's to next year when we may meet again -- unless you're on my flist, and then, sorry. Not going anywhere.

I really am glad the challenge has worked so well for you. And love how you threw yourself into it, not just with your own entries but supporting other people, too. That's so cool.

Ah, thank you. I'll have to see what grabs my attention after the fandom stocking reveals. But I doubt I'll stop again.

And you should do your own stocking. I may even hang my own up next year.

It's fantastic that you've taken part in all Snowflakes. You're such a fandom constant! And yes, I completely agree, Snowflake is a great way to start the new year. (I really hope I will be more fannish the coming year so I can take part next year!)
