Meeting Kayleigh's new girlfriend went really well. She's lovely and was apparently nervous about meeting me too, which was unexpected to hear. I also had a chat to Kayleigh about various things, and she really does seem more settled in herself, so that's a good thing.

Came home, put on a wash and the washer stopped in the middle of the cycle. Thankfully the door opened so I was able to get the soaking clothes out and scooped out the water. After I managed to pull out the washer I saw that it looks like the socket has blown again as the plug has stuff all over the prongs. So, I'm hoping when I use a different socket and change the fuse tomorrow the washer itself will be fine.

shadowhive has posted a very lovely Mikey and Ryan ficlet for me right here. When I realised what he'd done I had to grin. Mikey/Ryan, my rare pair that could.

Bath and book time for me now, though. Then I think I'm going to try out Titans on Netflix.

She was in the kitchen when we arrived and saw me through the window, then went flailing to Kayleigh that she'd just waved at her sister *g*

It should. I'd try using another socket tonight but I'm alone until much later and I don't want to blow myself up. So I'll let James blow himself up instead *g*

It was great, and made me laugh which is always awesome.

Titans is another in my Netflix list of doom! It's that or ending up being sucked into more cheesy cheerleading reality shows. I swear, it's an addiction.

It never crossed my mind that she'd be nervous too. Hopefully, she realised I'm not scary in the slightest.

I really hope it's just the plug or socket and not the actual washer. It is under guarantee still so would be fixed or exchanged, but I could just do without arranging that.

I'm cursed with washers lately. But you're right about the socket. It's convenient as it's in the wall right behind the washer but if it keeps blowing it just isn't safe to use.

I really hope so. But, I'm still going to arrange for an electrician to come check the kitchen wiring. Cost wise it'll be a blow, but better safe than sorry.

Considering we were both nervous, that first meeting went well.

I'm sitting here procrastinating about going to tackle the washer again. But it needs to be done as I have a sink full of damp clothes that need re-washing. I just really hope it works when I use a different socket.

OMG, yeah, get the electric checked. We had a house fire when I was a teenager that was do to faulty electric. I am super conscious of electricity problems now.
