someone's just took the tree from our garden. The Christmas tree that we picked out special and strung with lights. It was a 7 foot tree and they climbed over our 6 foot fence and just took it. I hate people. I know it's only a tree but to just take it. what kind of person would do that?

God I'm crying over a stupid tree here. Sorry.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with being upset about this. It is horrible vandalism, and it is within your garden, so it makes you feel unsafe.

I like the idea of oil on the wall... but my sister had an alternate suggestion. You could string a wire (attached to an air-horn or alarm? or with large bells on it?) inside your garden, quite near the wall, so people trying to get over will encounter it. It wouldn't work if you have animals though.

I hope that your vandal gets what's coming to him!

(now would be the perfect time for an angry icon!)

Thanks hon, both for the understanding and the suggestion. It's a good one but we have a dog who'd set it off all the time. However, I bet I could modify it somehow so it was higher than Tex. I'll have to think about that.
