Happy birthday to the always lovely [personal profile] castalie. I hope you have the best day possible and while it may not be the celebration you want, you still get spoiled from all that love you ♥

It's also the birthday of my middle niece who was smart and was born on the same day as Mouse, so I'll always remember *g* So, happy birthday to Hallie.

Thank you so much [personal profile] spasticat your parcel arrived and the mask is perfect. Your friend does excellent work and you're fantastic for sending a spare my way. Also, thank you for the postcard, you really have made me smile lately ♥

I finished watching Lucifer season three last night. I can't say it was my favourite season but I, for the most part, enjoyed it. Now for season four, which is on Netflix, I think.

The person who wrote the Musketeer dragon series has also written Firefly Musketeers, which is all kinds of nifty and amazingly, works very well. Now yet again I have the urge to rewatch both shows.

ETA: James just emailed with a link saying the theatre tour of Phantom has been called off. Understandable, but I was looking forward to seeing it later in the year.

Lucifer is on my queue...where it will remain for a bit longer, LOL.

Oh, Firefly and the Musketeers, that's quite the crossover!

Pity abt the tour being called off. I'm keeping an eye on the MCR tour because, so far, the US ones haven't been postponed. Tho the clock is ticking. I'm sure that some ppl legit don't care/aren't worried/would prefer to remain in denial abt the pandemic and its aftermath, but I'm not sure MCR would be chill about performing for a few months in enclosed spaces in front of thousands of ppl this fall. :-/

Yeah, I'd have thought that Firefly (given the fact that it was such a mish-mash of genres like you mentioned) should work well with most (all?) things. And, LOL at the Musketeers in Space. That's...quite the premise. ;)

Re going to concerts: I am mentally ready to wait at least til next Spring to see anyone (though I do have tickets for MCR in the fall.) OTOH, I just really get this super strong DNW reaction because of a crowded space and some ppl not following the safety protocols (face masks, social distancing, etc). Per a guideline I saw, the safest place is your own home followed by open spaces (such as parks) as long as you follow safety protocols and so forth. Basically, the smaller the space/the more compacted the crowd = a higher risk of infection.

TBH, I too am surprised that MCR hasn't announced the postponement of the US tour yet. IIRC, Livenation has already gone on record that there won't be any new concert announced for this year + Ticketmaster has already authorized refunds for the BTS concerts (which would've started abt a week or so ago.)
