I've had such a lovely day today.

It's my wedding anniversary, four years today, so we celebrated by going to a new to us nature park/lake and had such a great walk. It was warm and sunny and there were cool things to explore and look at.

After that, we drove into Newcastle and met Corey at the park at the end of his street. We sat at a picnic bench and ate salads from Subway and when we left him I hugged the stuffing out of him, which yes, I know I shouldn't have but I hadn't seen him since February.

And then, we called in at Kayleigh's and sat in the garden with her, her girlfriend and one of her friends. Came home and have just enjoyed a Chinese takeaway, the first one we've had for months. So now I'm sun-blushed, full and happy.

The first one is from yesterday. A mam bird and her babies came and hung out in one of the planters and I managed to capture her giving them some seed.
