Playing Who Wants To Live Forever when Darius is onscreen in flashbacks is so wrong, way to make me all sniffly. But man, this ep was good, Mac in a bandanna, much with the hotness there, and hugging Richie. Of course the death thing was a bummer :(

I've realised that fic has screwed me up in terms of HL. Before I started watching this time I'd seen a few Methos eps and nothing else, but had read a load of fic. So I've all these things like double quickenings, dark quickenings, watchers etc in my head with no real canon context. It's like Darius, I keep thinking he was evil and raped Mac in a church. Of course that could be my own sick mind at work. And the Watchers, I thought they were a good thing, but I watched today and they seem pretty nasty.Good job I'm shallow and just watch for the pretty ;) But bye Darius, I'll remember you and your easy access brown robe for a long time.

sorry babe, but I'm with Terri on that one. Duncan/Richie makes much more sense than Duncan/Methos, although Methos is much more appealing as a character than Richie (which is probably why I didn't push too much into the slash fandom and boy is that comment getting long!)

and ps: Darius is just a victim here! it wasn't him! plus, he gets killed by morons - martyr vibes! have a little respect for the man, you evil slashers!

ps2 (and no, I don't mean playstation2): it is proven, working too much is bad for my comments, honestly!

Duncan/Richie? Nah uh- uh, don't see it, didn't see it even when I didn't know of Methos' existence, so I'm not being biased here *nods*

It would be like... Jack/Sam, not enough sexual sparkles. Although there's more chemistry between Duncan and Richie that Jack and Sam- but then, it's not difficult *eg* I mean, they sure love each other, but they're not in love with each other. You miscreants! Well, I guess you'll stay in your misled DM/R corner when I'll have fun in my DM/M corner *eg*

shut up, or I'll start talking about pairing Joe with Methos :P Anyway, as I said, I don't see much slash in HL - which is a shame really. It's just that I'm lusting after them, therefore I want to imagine them straight... totally weird, but hey, I've got a massive migraine, which the computer isn't helping, but a conversation on HL pairing is just too good to be missed... what was I saying again? Oh yeah: I don't see slash in HL, but seeing how I prefer chan-ish stuff, Duncan/Richie is much better for me. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be the one in the corner taking my eyes out cause they hurt so much

I must admit that I never thought I'd like Richie, but since seeing the show from ep 1 I've grown to love him a whole lot. If I'm being serious I'd say that Mac must have messed around with men in his long life, but he's so happy with Tessa just now. However, the way they all touch I can really see a Mac/Tessa/Richie thing going on, and I do like the idea of DM/R a whole lot.

which reminds me: have you ever read a fic where Richie gets raped and then Methos and Duncan help him heal? It was so sad, with Richie explaining how it wasn't the first time he was raped and everything - nice flashback... *craving for Richie slash* any recs?

However, I do agree that Methos is a very compelling character, but so's Richie in his own awkward way. Mac and Richie are MFEO.

I have a lot of respect for Darius, and his easy access brown robes ;)

he's the best 20th century boy, but Methos has that cunning past, therefore great (but my favorite Horseman has to be Kronos, sorry - oh, remember that last episode? With Kronos/Methos/Richie? boy was that great *sighs happily* but I digress)
