turpsTS people. There used to be a site that dealt with medical things, you know if you needed medical stuff in a story. Does anyone know where that is, or any site that gives easily understood emergency medical advice in a survival situation. You know, like if you're insane and write a story with sdbs who're stuck on an island all bashed up and stuff. For example, can you really splint a broken arm with a stick? I'm sure questions like that were dealt with by this TS site but I can't think of its name.
Second. Anyone up to being an American beta for me? I have an awesome Brit beta but it's been pointed out my dialogue needs work as it's a little British in sound, which doesn't surprise me as it's my weakest point. So I need someone to go through and say things like 'we don't say things like that' The story won't be finished until tomorrow at least, but if anyone wants to volunteer I'll love you for ever, or you know, a day at least ;)
Last thing. Somehow I've managed to make a square appear in the middle of my screen and it's driving me crazy. I did something with my mouse and now there's this 3d square hovering there. If I click on it it takes me back to the last page I was on, which is nifty and all but I don't want a 3D square there. It's annoying and I want it gone.
