I was a Paris/Torres shipper in the Voyager fandom and ran out of stories to read. So I decided to check out this strange category called slash at Yahoo groups and never looked back. Jim/Blair, Brennan/Jesse Favourite genres: h/c Least favourite pairings: lambs, I'll read them but they're last on my list Least favourite genres: I don't really have one What makes a story good? Lots of things but the most important is good characterisation. I don't want to read something and not recognise the characters. I like to be drawn into a story and live in that world for a while which means good description and lack of things that will throw me out. What makes a story bad? Bad characterisation, spelling, grammar. wildly implausible plot. The best author: Too many to mention Why? The best story you've ever read: The worst author: Why? The worst story you've ever read: Some of them posted on the Nsync angst mailing list make me want to spork myself. Anything that has the words Joshtin in the header *shudders* The best story you have written: I like Boxes The worst story you have written: Man, there's so many to pick from. most of my MX stuff sucks. Do you leave feedback? I do but should send more. Do you get feedback? Yes Do you have a favorite kink? I like the master/slave stuff Does something squick you? Some cross dressing stories. In fact any messing about with their names, like James or Justy ( arghh, I hate that one) Josh and Justy, my hatred knows no end. Your advice to new slashers: If you're reading ask where the good stuff is that way you'll avoid the dreck. Writers find a beta who's honest and be prepared to be told your stuff sucks at times. Then get off your ass and fix it. Your slash wish list: I want new epic Chris stories of at least 200 pages in Word. One a week with a different Chris pairing each time will do me fine.
