turpsNow some actual content. The main news being the Sentinel Thursday Archive is open for business at last! The Sentinel is one of my other fandoms and together with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
castalie I run the ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
sentinel_thurs comm. The archive for the comm has been woefully outdated for a long time and the site really needed an overhaul too, so Mouse and I pulled up our sleeves and got down to some hard work. I can safely say over this last week we've both coded at a frantic rate, catching up on stories as well as changing index pages and altering the whole look of the place. It was a huge job and one I hope we never have to do on that scale again, but now it's done and the feeling of relief is immense. I know on my flist TS is sort of my other fandom but I do still love it a lot and am extremely proud of the work Mouse and I have done. Am proud of the whole comm in fact, we were the first TS comm on LJ and we've flourished ever since, gathering a group of talented writers along the way.
I just can't believe it's 99.9% done and announced at last!
I'm having great fun with the favourite story meme and my treat for working so hard is to read and answer more tonight. You guys are so talented, I'm so impressed. I'm also pleased with the answers I've been getting because I've had no shame and asked everyone, and I really am pleased with the answers. Finding out that stories that tanked in terms of feedback are people's favourites is a good thing. So if I haven't got to you yet and you asked me, don't worry, I will.
Oh, while I'm here. You remember I posted some Chris golf pictures forsimply_fly_away, well she also mentioned golf footage and one bit I found is here. He's not actually playing golf but is on a golf course and is holding a club which surely counts ;) Anyway, watch so you can hear his most delightful giggle which never fails to make me smile.
And last but not leasterilyn found a Chris/Kevin photo, where they're standing side by side! Believe me I squeed for England!
