I thought there were no pairing names left to give me physical pain until I saw Joshtinance. Why!? For the love of all that is good and slashy, why!?

Sometimes you feel like beating your head against the wall. Corey was getting ready for Cubs and discovered he'd brought the wrong Cub jumper back from camp. It's exactly the same as his, same badges, same places, except one size smaller and some of the badges are sewn on with green thread when I used clear and glue for the last few. Of course now I can't remember if I put his name in his jumper, I remember sitting writing his name on all his camping gear but am blanking on his uniform. I just hope someone else realised the mistake or we're screwed as the one he has is far too small.

Also, Earlier I went into the garden to check the washing, it was really hot and the paddling pool was still full and looked really inviting, so I jumped in it, holding up my skirt as the water was about a foot deep. Which is when I saw my next door neighbour standing outside the fence. Not wanting to look like an idiot I pretended to pull some weeks on the far side of the pool only for him to come stand right next to the fence and stare at me. I sort of shuffled around a bit because the sides are high and I could imagine falling over trying to get out, but you know there's only so long you can pretend to be busy when you're standing in a paddling pool holding up an ankle length skirt.

So I got out and he came to the gate and asked if he could speak to me. ( A bit of history here. Last week mam was out and my neighbour was in the same pub. He's an old guy, about 70 or so and he was sitting alone so she invited him to sit with her and her friends, which he did. Later she went out the room and left her mobile on the table, and he took it and left. That night she came to my house furious saying he'd stolen it and at first I didn't believe her because she tells me so many lies when drinking. But it turned out he really had taken it, which she discovered when he started phoning her house over and over and hanging up. He used his own land line so she got the number from that and the police were called. But he gave it back before they came so that should have been the end of it. Except he's been following her ever since when she goes drinking ) Going back to my story. I thought he wanted to talk about mam so I opened the gate and he started telling me what a lovely girl I was and how he'd always thought so. Then he wanted to know my first name so I told him, at which point he asked for a kiss. I asked him 'what did you say?' because a kiss? Surely I'd heard wrong but he just sort of smiled and shook his head and said it didn't matter. Creeped out I said I had to go make Corey tea and left.

It was suck a freaky thing. I'm not scared or anything but I'm not impressed at him standing outside my fence and staring in. I mean, I feel sorry for him as his wife died last year but not enough to be giving kisses.

Totally unrelated to anything seiyaharris has been fanning my John Barrowman love today ( Captain Jack! ) and not content with that she's been mentioning Andi Peters too, and the broom cupboard. All I'm thankful for is she didn't mention Edd the Duck because I would have exploded with sheer glee. See, John had a wild sweaty long lasting affair with Andi presented Live and Kicking with Andi back in the day. I'd say when I was a kid but I so wasn't. In fact Becca posted a picture here. Look at his arm casually over Andi's shoulder, the bendy legs, which gah, legs that stretch that wide give me evil thoughts. Damn you Emma for being in the way! And now I'll shut up with the John/Andi love. At least I didn't mention Philip and Gordon the Gopher! You can all blame Becca for corrupting me ;)

Update to the jumper situation. His is at the club house now and all is well. I'm sure you all wanted to know that. And now a cool shower for me :)
