turpsI went out and got my copies of Kerrang this morning. I needed Frank, Gerard and Mikey and got them all, then felt horrible for not getting a Ray, too. I am sorry Ray, I love you also!
I enjoyed the whole interview, especially all the talk of moving from the black and white to colour, and Gerard's sudden unsettling realisation he'd become someone on the cover of magazines wearing a raincoat and tie. I'll always love the picture of him and Mikey when they're dressed so spiffy, but I do prefer them in all their filthy, colourful, casual glory. I'm waiting for scans because I want icons, lots and lots of icons. Also so I can discuss the interview.
Just before I went out I caught the minute teaser of the video and
Mikey and his failtastic karate moves, Frank singing along, the kid with her letter to her mom D: Band, I love you! I especially love that all of them are crammed into the Trans Am, and that Mikey gets to ride shotgun. You'd think he'd be relegated to the back but nope. Also, the kid remains kick ass to the extreme. The full version is going to kill me ded!
What also killed me ded was Gabe and his tweet about the fleshlight he's getting. Especially as very recently I'd been having a comment conversation with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
romanticalgirl about that very subject. Now that Gabe's brought it up questions do have to be asked, the main one in my mind remaining, do you thrust into a fleshlight or move it by hand? I'm sure Gabe is the man to answer that.
Changing the subject from one set of colourful MCR guys to the fictional kind, I was talking tokin_you_bi about Tints verse, specifically Ray/Brian and ended with a tiny snippet. The idea is all hers, all I did was steal it and write it down. If you're interested in the tiniest snippet ever, it's here

And Gerard would be all long suffering and sigh as he gathers supplies and tells Mikey to sit down and he'd start patching up the cut across Mikey's knee, picking out the gravel and be all "Seriously, a supply run. That's it, we're going to practice your defence moves again."
And Mikey rolls his eyes and yes, is all, "It wasn't my fault."
So they end up practising and of course it's a disaster. Mikey kicks Gerard in the balls and spends half the time staring blankly and Gerard's going crazy all, "You need to listen! And then just throws his hands in the air and stomps off to contact Gabe!
