We've been to our niece's birthday party today. There was bouncy castle, party food, and many young children, who, at random times started shrieking at a pitch where I was worried for any nearby glass. We came home with a box of left over party food, so score for that.

Last night Scouts started up again, and it was also the Big Brother finale. Out of the 5 people left I would have been happy for 4 of them to win, so things got a little tense when the one I didn't want to win stayed in until third place, which I'm still boggled about, because seriously British public, what were you thinking?

Oh man. The art claims for [livejournal.com profile] rpf_big_bang have just gone up and my story was claimed within minutes. I wasn't expecting that at all.

Bouncy castles! Those are the best.

I wasn't expecting that at all.
I, on the other hand, am wearing my unsurprised face. :D

Bouncy castles are awesome, and this one was very impressive. The kids had a load of fun.

You're awesome for having that unsurprised face <3

I'm so glad the kids had a good time.

About seven or so years ago, my family and I went out to California for an Anniversary party for my grandparents. There was a bouncy castle. My dad spent about as much time in that thing as I did. And in related bouncy castle news - there were two HUGE ones set up in the field outside St. Mungo's yesterday [on the Uni's grounds]. Bouncy castles for everyone! *laughs*

Not awesome, really. Just honest. ♥

I love that you and your dad went on the bouncy castle. More people should play on them, they're awesome!

Just. Little kids are very shrill, especially in groups.

I don't know about a blockbuster, I'm just glad it's been picked at all.

Don't even tell me about it. I'm allergic to most kids.

I was joking, but still, you should have more faith in yourself. :)

Well, of course it was! I suspect you are going to be the only one surprised, dude. ♥

I can't wait to read it and see the art you get! (Especially read it. Whee!)

I was honestly stunned, still am to be honest. I've been preparing myself for it to be picked last all day.

Art \o/

That was such a big draw for me actually joining this big bang. I'm all excited now.

They do get exhausting, and I'm glad we've got little on tomorrow because I'm tired and have a headache. I think I'm going to have an early night.

I still can't believe it's completely done.

It sounds like a terribly exhausting kind of party. Lots of screeming kids always are in my opinion anyway :-)

I definitely think you're the only one that's suprised by this. You totally underestimate how loved that universe is and how many people are eagerly waiting for more in it.

IT was very loud, but I managed to get a prime spot next to the little kitchen which meant easy access to coffee, which was a plus.

That's a lovely, and scary thing to say. Thank you.

Dude, tell me about it, I totally forgot they were going up today and arrived 40 minutes realllly late to the party /o\ You get another unsurprised face from me! Happily I got somethin with zombies in the end though, so my sadness is eased : D

Zombies! I bet you can do good stuff with zombies.

I was amazed at how fast stories were being claimed. People must have been sitting waiting for the posts to go up.

Ahaha, I figured with zombies I just have to try and fail to draw regular people, as comes naturally. WIN! : D

Aaand, usually those people would have included me. Whoops, claiming-ninja fail /o\

ZOMBIES?? OH BOY!!!
[I should note here that the oh boy is not for the zombies themselves, which actually sketch me out, but for the inevitable awesomeness that will come from YOU doing zombie-related art. :) I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT!!! *bounces*]

NOOOO PRESSUUUURE! Srsly, figure drawing is reallllly not my forte, so purposely mangled limbs are a nice get-out clause : ) ALSO I LIKE ZOMBIES.

(Also, AW, YOU, um, SHOOSH! ♥)

No, no pressure at all.
*takes pressure and applies it to some coal, where it might be useful*

OH MAN, I hear you with the figure drawing thing - I keep thinking taking some life drawing classes would be helpful - BUT I also disagree a bit. Your Lyn-Z was most keen.

...purposely mangled limbs are a nice get-out clause.

AHAHA! I've never thought of it that way, but you're right. Just think about the blood splatter opportunities!

ALSO I LIKE ZOMBIES.
I HAD NOTICED THAT ABOUT YOU.
I am conflicted about the zombie thing. On one hand - I love horror movies, which often have zombies. But my worst nightmares are zombie-laden. *hands*

And now I want to draw zombies. Prolly isn't the wisest of things to do at work...

(Yes, this --> ♥)
